It’s a tour by Vespa to admire the ancient windmills, the salt pans and salt works; nowadays the salt harvesting using the traditional techniques.
The Oriented Natural Reserve of Saline of Trapani and Paceco has been under the direction of WWF Italy since 1995, and tourists can often see more than 150 species of birds here, like the flamingoes, cranes, storks and osprey.
We propose you a unique experience, the visit of charming places created by the men for business and later became habitat for several animal species.
You’ll discover the windmills, created some centuries ago for the salt production.
The tour by Vespa will make you live a day walking along the street of salt and live the salt tradition in Trapani.

Itinerary
- Meeting among all the participants and the guide, at the departure point.
- Provide of the Vespa and helmet.
- Departure towards the Salt Pans of Trapani
- Walk by Vespa along the salt pans, from Trapani to Marsala; stop at the Museum of Salt.
- First stop at the Museum of Salt in Nubia and at Salina Calcara where you can have guided tour by experts salinai who will explain you the ancient and modern methods of salt production.
- Walk until the Salt Pans of the Lagoon.
- Stop near Mothia.
- Back to Trapani.
Because of unfavourable weather conditions or other causes, the itinerary could be modified.

91100rent.it and Trapani Vespa Tour service were born in summer 2014 from the idea of three friends, Ciccio, Peppe and Luca. They thought of taking advantage of their love for motorbikes and tourism.
